My Table Setting for the Fair

Yes, it's Fair Time Again!  I have again entered a table setting; I think this will be my third time.  I never win anything but it's always fun.  This year's theme at the fair is "Water" so this is my water themed fun setting.

Accomplishments

When I started 2013, I knew I wanted to make some changes.  I felt trapped in my bloated body, destined to be a Stroller Whale, along with all of the nasty health implications.  It struck me in March, while sitting on the corner of my bed, it was time to get on it when the caster on that corner...well...it broke.

My 100th workout at Curves

I know I've ranted a few times about Curves here on my little blue corner of Cyberspace...but I do enjoy working out there, and today was my 100th workout.

We are moving to a new server and while we are unpacking, there are a few bugs!

This is up at the place where I do my swim workshop.  Did they have a problem with people spontaneously stripping down and wandering around buck nekked?

Spring Cleaning

Now that I'm back to work, it's nice to be able to do things like have the house cleaned!  Why can't I do it?  Well, for one, I suck at it, and two, I hate it.  It's nice to have it done - I used to have it done before when I was doing well.

Back to Work

So I was out with injured hands for the last half of 2012.  Carpal tunnel finally caught up with me - didn't take much more than my keyboard height being about 3-4" too high at my contract job last spring.  Ten days of working like that, and I was in trouble...

Shaking off the Past

Sometimes you're going along in life and feel that everything is okay, you have your struggles you're working against, and you keep on going.  Then suddenly, something happens where something is gone - and you realize after you let go of it, it was truly weighing you down...

Once again, in Mourning

Every year I have to face it.  My least favorite month of the year, see my rant from last year and a few years back January sucks - and one of the reasons is that my favorite soft drink goes out of production. 

The Big Cleanout

I like to make a clean start at the beginning of each year...so I started yesterday with the bedroom.  Rearranged some furniture and did a major league clean out of general things that I had forgotten I even had, therefore, GONE.  Today I'm going to clean out the computer room.  Fremont Freecycle, stand by!
