Spring Cleaning

Now that I'm back to work, it's nice to be able to do things like have the house cleaned!  Why can't I do it?  Well, for one, I suck at it, and two, I hate it.  It's nice to have it done - I used to have it done before when I was doing well.

Back to Work

So I was out with injured hands for the last half of 2012.  Carpal tunnel finally caught up with me - didn't take much more than my keyboard height being about 3-4" too high at my contract job last spring.  Ten days of working like that, and I was in trouble...

Once again, in Mourning

Every year I have to face it.  My least favorite month of the year, see my rant from last year and a few years back January sucks - and one of the reasons is that my favorite soft drink goes out of production.

The Big Cleanout

I like to make a clean start at the beginning of each year...so I started yesterday with the bedroom.  Rearranged some furniture and did a major league clean out of general things that I had forgotten I even had, therefore, GONE.  Today I'm going to clean out the computer room.  Fremont Freecycle, stand by!

ANNOYING Christmas Song

I have a memory of being about 3 or 4 years old, and the doorbell rang, and there was a huge group of Christmas Carolers on the porch.  They were singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and holding out a can (for donations).  I didn't know what to do; a little kid doesn't have any money, so I closed the door and they wouldn't go away!
