Barbeque Pork Loin a la Crock Pot
Contributed by: Carole aka Reptileszz

Ethnicity: American
Dishtype:1

Tender
moist barbequed pork that literally falls apart.

Ingredients:
Crock Pot
2-5 lb. pork loin
2 apples
1 regular sized bottle of barbecue sauce (someone out there makes an apple barbeque sauce but I don\'t know the brand)

Preparation

  1. Put the pork loin in the crock pot.
  2. Cut up the apples into 2 inch x 1/3 inch spikes.
  3. Drill holes in the pork loin with a knife and insert the apple spikes all the way in there. Stick in a whole bunch of them all over. The more the better.
  4. Throw the leftover apple spikes in with the loin.
  5. Cover the whole thing with the bottle of barbecue sauce. Squish it around a bit to get some barbecue sauce underneath.
  6. Cook on low for 10 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes for maximum goodness. Leftovers are awesome on sandwiches!
