Mashed Sweet Potatoes

This low carb alternative to mashed potatoes is tasty!
Ingredients:
3 sweet potatoes 3 T amaretto or maple syrup Cinnamon and ginger to taste 1/4 cup toasted almonds
Preparation
Microwave whole potatoes until soft. Cool to touch. Remove pulp. Mash with liqueur/syrup and spices. Top with almonds.
