Barbeque Pork Loin a la Crock Pot
Contributed by: Carole aka Reptileszz
Ethnicity: American
Dishtype:1
Tender
moist barbequed pork that literally falls apart.
Ingredients:
Crock Pot
2-5 lb. pork loin
2 apples
1 regular sized bottle of barbecue sauce (someone out there makes an apple barbeque sauce but I don\'t know the brand)
Preparation
- Put the pork loin in the crock pot.
- Cut up the apples into 2 inch x 1/3 inch spikes.
- Drill holes in the pork loin with a knife and insert the apple spikes all the way in there. Stick in a whole bunch of them all over. The more the better.
- Throw the leftover apple spikes in with the loin.
- Cover the whole thing with the bottle of barbecue sauce. Squish it around a bit to get some barbecue sauce underneath.
- Cook on low for 10 hours.
