So yesterday I had a breakthrough...I did not need any pain meds It was also the first day of harder physical therapy - and I passed with flying colors! I rode the bike and they were amazed I could go all the way around on the pedalling.

I talked with my surgeon yesterday afternoon and he called me a rock star. Needless to say, recovery is going well!
